Humbled Street Light is one of a collection of images made by artist Maria Huntley. This image if part of St. Martin's Church in Colmar, France. This collection includes houses of worship from around the world. Some are grand and well known and others are found in secluded less well trodden pathways. Maria Huntley is an artist who employs a wide range of expression. Maria was born in Germany and came to the United States as a child. Having lived many summers of her youth in Europe gave her an understanding of different cultural perspectives and informs the universal themes of her art.
