Angel 23 is part of a collection of angel images made by artist Maria Huntley. These images are created from a variety of media including photographs, digitally altered images and traditional mixed media. The artist is inspired by angels seen around the world's churches, cathedrals, cemeteries and within her own imagination.
About Maria Huntley
Maria Huntley is an artist who employs a wide range of expression. Maria was born in Germany and came to the United States as a child. Having lived many summers of her youth in Europe gave her an understanding of different cultural perspectives and informs the universal themes of her art. The textures, color and aesthetic of time worn places she has experienced as a world traveler is seen in the layers, structure and textures of her work.
