Assemblage Wall Sculptures Wall Art

Maria Huntley creates mixed media assemblages made from recycled wood objects that are deconstructed into bits and pieces and then reassembled and painted. The titles reveal some of the meaning behind the symbolism the shape, form, color and arrangement suggest as well as what the parts original function may have been. These pieces are created as a meditation on bringing disparate elements together and integrating them into a new multi-layered and textured whole that achieves a sense of organic balance and elegance.
